Every Studio offers to each family (2 parents and 2 children) a comfortable stay, as it has a double-bed, a berth, a television, air-conditioning, a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, its own balcony with view to the se, which is only 100 meters away from the end of the field, while from the other side of the entrance the visitor can enjoy the view of the pine-forest, which is perfect for daily excursions.

Vourvourou is a seaside village and holiday resort of Sithonia, in Halkidiki Beaches of Vourvourou’s (Livari, Xifara, Karidi, Mpara, Fava) and natural beauties attract many visitors each year. Across Vourvourou, in a close distance from the shore there is a complex of nine islands (Ampelitsi, Kalogria, Peristeri, Agios Isidoros, Prasonisi), that surround the biggest and most mportant Diaporo. This is a guite large island, with a large natural gulf 700metres long krifto, which is used for ships to arrive in the place for the ship, when there are waves. The gulf has always have warm buttomless water. The biggest part of the island is covered pinewoods. The visitor, can enjoy the settlement of the teaching stuff of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki which is a model – settlement in panellenic scale, because of the absolute respect to environment.  Also, from the top of the mountain Itamos can be seen the whole Halkidiki area and the Aegean. What is interesting is the “Monument of Aviators”.
In the settlement, there are many chapels, like the Virgin of Vourvourou’s that celebrates in 8th September, the Prophito Elias and Theona’s. The place had many residents since ages, as the remnants of the probyzantine church of Agios Andreas indicate, that were found in the island Diaporos. It is known since the 10th century, as ‘’the land of Vourvourion’’. It is also amazing the ‘’great wall’’, which is a Fortification of unknown time, that cut the communication of the main road of Sithonia to the rest of Halkidiki. |
